"D": An Explanation
A "d" or "long description" link leads to a text equivalent of each image or multimedia object. The "d" text describes the graph, table, or other image in text only. This information can be accessed by screen readers, Braille devices, and mobile devices such as cell phones. At the end of each description is a "back" link that takes users back to the original image or page.
